Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley Position Overview: Provides a broad range of high-level, specialized administrative support to one or more executive leaders on the Executive Career Path in the Legal & Risk Services Department. Works independently on a variety of complex assignments that are generally of a critical and confidential nature, exercising sound judgment, and applying advanced knowledge, and skills of Sutter Health administrative infrastructure, policies and procedures. Handles a broad range of complex inquiries, issues, and confidential materials. Exercises originality in developing methods or systems to resolve recurring or unusual circumstances. A successful candidate will be a quick learner, team player, client-centric, service-oriented (able to anticipate needs and execute independently), and have sound judgment. Job Description: EDUCATION: • HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) • Paralegals encouraged to apply - paralegal certificate a plus TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: • At least 4 years relevant experience supporting attorneys or Vice President or above in general corporate, mergers & acquisitions or healthcare transactions practic areas. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: • Written communications skills including the ability to compose effective communications to audiences within and outside the organization. • Verbal communications skills including the ability to speak and listen effectively to various audiences within and outside of the organization. • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. • Advanced skill level in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, internet search software, AI and AI-enabled software, technology and platforms, and related information systems. • Experience with document/contract management systems (e.g., iManage, iCertis), enterprise legal management and billing software (e.g., TeamConnect) and document comparison software (e.g., Litera) a plus. • Interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. • Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions. • Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options. • Ensure the privacy of each patient’s protected health information (PHI). • Build collaborate relationships with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objectives. Pay Range is $40.38 to $56.53 / hour. Bay Area Pay Range is $46.44 to $65.01 / hour. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
